Carrots are good for health! We often use this sentence. Most of us don’t know how it is good for health? Let’s have a look at advantages of eating carrot.

Adding carrot to your diet gives you numerous rewards.  Do you know that there is 25 calorie in medium sized carrot? Carrot contains vitamin A and fibers. These two are necessary for health. One carrot has 2 gram fibers. Now we will discuss about the advantages of carrot.

Good for eyes:
Carrot has beta-carotene and it converts into vitamin A. carrot is very nutritious especially for the people who face issues in watching properly at night. You should add carrot to your diet.

Fights against cancer:
Eating carrot regularly reduces chances to cause cancer especially, lung cancer, breast cancer, and colon cancer. The falcarinol (natural pesticide and fatty alcohol found in carrots) helps to reduce risk of cancer.

Works as anti-aging:
Antioxidants of carrots prevent cells of your body to damage and due to that the aging of cells reduces.

Keeps your skin younger:
Antioxidants of carrot and vitamin A prevent your skin from damage that causes from sunrays. Due to deficiency of vitamin A your skin becomes dry. When there is proper intake of vitamin A your skin doesn’t get wrinkles.

Good in heart disease:
The beta-carotene of carrot takes you away from heart diseases and keeps your heart healthy. Carrot has beta- carotene, alpha carotene, and lutein as well. Adding carrot in your daily diet reduces cholesterol.

Beneficial for liver:
Vitamin A of carrot helps to take out toxins and fat of liver as well. Fibers of carrot cleans colon and advances your health.

Remember these things before eating carrots:
1.       Wash it properly and eat as a salad. If you eat as a juice then you don’t get advantage of fibers.
2.       If you want to reduce your weight then you can eat 1 to 2 carrots per day. If you eat more carrots then it can affect your health.
